I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to my Catholic readers for the choosing of a new Pope. I prayed for your church and I am happy with the choice made. The Pope is very important to the Christian church as a whole. May God bless Pope Benedict XVI!

I'm not Catholic but I always admired Pope John Paul II. He stood for what is right and good and true. I hope Pope Benedict XVI will be just as honorable. From what I've heard, I think he will.

From what I have read about Pope Benedict, I think he is the best man...someone who will uphold the Bible & not bend to what changes the people want...
